Two large parallel plates are separated by 4.0 cm4.0\text{ cm} and maintain a uniform electric field 5.0×103 N C15.0\times10^3\text{ N C}^{-1} between them. A proton is released from rest near the positive plate and moves to the negative plate. Take e=1.6×1019 Ce=1.6\times10^{-19}\text{ C} and mp=1.67×1027 kgm_p=1.67\times10^{-27}\text{ kg}.
